System folder
Copy the .vst3 bundle into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. This normally needs elevated rights, then a rescan in the host.

Custom folder
If that path is not writable, point the host at a folder you own. In Ableton Live: Preferences → Plug-Ins → VST3 Plug-In Custom Folder. Live scans it alongside the system folders.

Unsigned installers
Our installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen will warn on first run. The plug-in itself loads fine unsigned; only the installer is affected.

Saved sessions
While a plug-in is pre-1.0, parameter IDs may still move. A version bump can mean a saved session does not restore exactly. We say so in the release notes when it happens.

That last part matters more than it sounds. Most reports about our environment plug-ins are about a difference between what the model renders and what the listener expected a field to sound like, and both halves of that are useful to us.
